OOH LA LA, MATE!

In September, we left for a month in Europe! We started with five days in Paris, staying in the Marais neighborhood. We visited the museums, took a boat ride along the Seine et nous avons mangé bien! We took the Chunnel train for a three-week stay in London at a rented flat in Fulham. Scott and Janet met us there and stayed for the first week. Needless to say, we found some smashing gastro-pubs and also went to a football game at Craven Cottage. Lea Kone, our beautiful godchild, spent the second week with us and we did lots of lovely things including high tea and the Kew Gardens. Kevin and I got to Stamford Bridge twice to see our beloved Chelsea – both wins for the Blues. We hung out at the pub across the street after Kevin was the only one rooting for the US in the Ryder Cup match. US lost, but we won some real friends at the Lillie Langtry. All in all, it was brilliant!
