Prague, Budapest and Amsterdam

We three in Buda, the Danube behind usShortly after we got back to Ann Arbor, we left again, this time on a trip to Hungary and the Czech Republic, with a drive through Slovakia in between and a great, though short, visit to Amsterdam at the end.  Jesica Cruze, our niece, proved to be a wonderful traveling companion adding joy and insight to the trip. We liked Prague and loved Budapest, especially the Szechenyi Baths and our Hungarian cooking class; paprika, anyone? We also really enjoyed the great public transportation in both towns and could easily navigate them on our own. We’re so glad we added a layover in Amsterdam and plan to go again when we can stay longer. The weather was great and we would highly recommend visits to all three fascinating and historic cities.
